Delivery trade
The delivery bill
Change the trade or the brokerage and the bill recalculates. The trade is invented; the rates are NSE’s.
How each line is worked
- STT: 0.1% of buy value + 0.1% of sell value.
- NSE transaction charge: ₹306.99 per crore, each side, on buy value plus sell value. NSE’s circular lists it as “Rs. 306.99 each side” for Cash Market, levied on trading members.
- SEBI turnover fee: ₹10 per crore of buy value plus sell value.
- Stamp duty: 0.015% of buy value, paid by the buyer.
- GST: 18% applied here to brokerage only, the “stock brokers services” line NSE lists; a contract note may apply it more widely.
Delivery trades pay STT on both the purchase and the sale, and the highest stamp duty rate. NSE states that delivery and intraday STT is worked on the volume weighted average price; for a single-price trade, as here, that is the trade price. Depository participant charges on selling delivered shares are set by your DP and are not on this bill.
