The futures bill
Change the trade or the brokerage and the bill recalculates. The trade is invented; the rates are NSE’s.
How each line is worked
- STT: 0.05% of sell value.
- NSE transaction charge: ₹182.99 per crore, each side, on buy value plus sell value. NSE’s circular lists it as “Rs. 182.99 each side” for Equity futures, levied on trading members.
- SEBI turnover fee: ₹10 per crore of buy value plus sell value.
- Stamp duty: 0.002% of buy value, paid by the buyer.
- GST: 18% applied here to brokerage only, the “stock brokers services” line NSE lists; a contract note may apply it more widely.
